NLVOA Mandate

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Officials Association (NLVOA) is a sub-committee of Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association (NLVA).
Its role is to provide leadership and direction to all officials in Newfoundland and Labrador (NL).

    To work with the regions to recruit, educate, train, and certify Referees at the local, provincial and regional levels.

    To work with the regions for promotional opportunities in order to ensure a high level of officiating in NL.

    To work with VC for promotional opportunities to the National level.

    To work with the NLVA to ensure that the Volleyball Rules for NL are consistent with those adopted by VC.

    To encourage the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship.
